It is claimed that her cuisine plays a major role in the diet. She took interest in the fitness industry early in her life when she was trying to lose weight after being pregnant. She owned a fitness club in her home town and also worked at another center later on which was part owned by her husband. Her and her husband managed to grow a very successful business out of the center and eventually sold it. They did very well with this business and then started Jenny Craig in 1983. Obviously Jenny was very involved with fitness and exercise and of course diet. The Jenny Craig system uses meal plans to help people control their intake and form a good relationship with food. Rather than having to figure out what to eat and what not too eat, they do it for you. They also provide support for people so they don’t fall off the wagon easily. This is key for someone who wants to cheat and eat Jenny Craig’s food and then top it up with food of their choosing. There is much more to Jenny Craig than just a diet. The system involves activity and fitness and building a balanced life style which will hopefully lead a person to non reliance on Jenny. Overall it seems like a good system compared to most since it does not only focus on only diet or only exercise. |
