Intense Fitness Rountines
Finding the right workout routine can be somewhat of a challenge. Your fitness level goes up and down and your routine needs to adjust to it. Fitness videos with Keith Byard provide an intense workout for the more advanced but may be a little to heavy for those who are just starting out into a routine or who may have returned to their routine after some time off. One way to work around having a pile of videos collecting dust is to adjust your follow rate according to your level. By follow rate I mean the rate and intensity at which you follow along with a video routine
Whether you are following along to PSX90 or Kathy Lee you can still have a more or less intense workout depending on your involvement. Some days when your energy levels are down and you complete your routine it seems like you did so with only half the energy as other days. This can of course be controlled intentionally as well. I recommend always doing all the moves and exercises put forth by the fitness instructor but just adjusting how intense you do each one. Everything from the range you move your arms and legs to the degree you tense your muscles can greatly affect how much energy and calories you burn.
Even though Keith Byard’s fitness programs are considered intense by some it is still possible to scale it back to suite your personal level. There is no need to own a whole pack of fitness DVD’s and videos based on your personal fitness level. A couple for variety is always a bonus but a new one for every time to go up a level or down a level is unnecessary. Control your breathing, limit your motion and the degree you tense your muscles and you will be able to half the amount of energy needed to complete a routine.
